Q. I like to order products online but do not have a Credit Card
You can complete your order online and pay by direct deposit, cheque or internet banking. Select the option you would like to use when you get to the payment section.

Q How long will my order take to get to me.
We ship out within one working day of receiving for your order.  If you pay by bank deposit or internet banking allow 24 hrs for funds to clear. If you pay by cheque allow 5 working days.

Q. Can I order online and pick the order up from your store.
No. All online orders are shipped directly to the delivery address.

Q. Do you sell to business and individual customers?
We sell to everyone, business or individual.

Q.  Do you have wholesale prices?
 Yes. We have special discount for registered business. Email info@hairplus.co.nz for details.

Q. Can I order now and pay later.
We require full payment before we will ship out the order.

Hair Extensions FAQ

Q. What are hair extensions?
Hair extensions is a system whereby additional hair is added to your own hair. This can increase the volume, length and change the style of your hair.

Q.  What are the techniques used for applying Hair extensions?
There are different techniques such as Bonding, Weaving, Braiding, Strand by Strand fusion, Clip in, Fused Weft, Enhancer, integration etc.

Q.  Can anyone apply hair extensions?
Some hair extensions can be applied by individuals. These are braids, weaves and clip In extensions. For other techniques, it is best to go to the trained hairdresser as this involves either using heat or Bonding glue.

Q.  What type of hair is use for hair extensions?
Synthetic or human hair is used for hair extensions. Human hair last longer than synthetic hair. Both types of hair can be washed regularly with care. Heat cannot be used on the synthetic hair but can be used on human hair. A special shampoo is required for synthetic hair to prolong wear.

Q  Where does the hair come from?
Our range of hair extensions comes mostly from India where it is grown and sold by individuals for a fee. It is then processed in the factory  into finished products in different textures, lenghts and colors which we then sell.  We do not buy or sell raw human hair as we cannot process the hair ourselves.

Q. What is Hair Plus Extension System?
Hair Plus extension is a system used in applying 100% human hair extensions. The hair comes with a pre glued tip (pre bonded) and is attached to natural hair using Hair Plus Master Machine.  It is a pain free, fast and safe method of applying human hair extensions. 

Q. How long does it take to apply Hair Plus Extensions?
Depending on individual needs, it takes between 2 - 3 hours to apply a full head of Hair Plus extensions.

Q. How long will the extensions last?
It will last up to 5 months with regular care while other techniques like weave, fused weft, bonding will last between 4 to 8 weeks.  Regular maintenance is required to prolong the life of your Hair Plus Extensions.  After application of extension we recommend visits back to the salon to have it checked regularly. We also recommend not to use alcohol or silicon based shampoo and conditioner on hair extensions.

Q. How long does my hair have to be to have hair extension?
Your hair must be at least 5 - 6 inches long.

Q. How many packets do I need for a full head?
4-6 Packets or more depending on the volume required.

Q. What is the length of the hair?
16 inches (40cm) and 20 inches (50cm)

Q. Is the hair real hair?
Our hair extensions are 100% Remi Indian hair.  Remi hair is premium hair that stays soft and silky. 

Q. Do you have different hair textures?
Our hair extensions is available in Natural wavy (straight hair), Medium Wavy and Medium curly.  This means we do not have to perm the hair to match your hair type. See Style Gallery for details. 

Q. Can you match my hair colour with Hair Plus extensions?
Yes we can match your hair color as the hair comes in 26 colors.

Q. Can you color Hair Plus Extensions?
You can colour the Extensions.  We have variety of colours and can match you hair colour 100% with extensions. Coloring hair is a skilled process so needs to be done by a color technician. We cannot accept responsibility for hair colored.

Q.  What if I need to retouch my re-growth?
Your re-growth can be retouched with the extensions still in your hair, although care needs to be taken during the process.

Q.  Will it damage my hair?
Our hair extensions will not damage your hair. Although regular care is required.  

Q. How are the extensions removed?
They are removed by applying a solution that dissolves the bond leaving your hair in its original condition. 

Q. Can you comb and brush the hair extensions?
You can brush Hairplus extensions daily with care by using special Extensions Brush. Regular brushing from roots to ends will prevent hair from tangling.
